Public organisation of certification (LST Sert) has been established by the Order of Lithuanian Standards Board No 67 of 15.11.1999 with five staff members involved. In the period of 2000-2007 this organization has certified quality systems of 40 enterprises.

Seeking wider international recognition LST Sert has been accredited by National Accreditation Bureau. LST Sert certify quality management systems, environmental protection management systems, information security management systems and Food safety management systems.
